This workshop gives clinical oncologists a practical, safe, and realistic introduction to using AI in daily practice. Over four hours, participants will learn how to prompt large language models effectively, understand core concepts like LLMs, RAG, and agentic AI, and see exactly where AI can support clinics, tumor boards, patient communication, and documentation. A major part of the program is hands-on: every participant will work on real oncology use-cases at breakout tables using their own laptop and a free public AI tool. We will also cover safety, including how to avoid PHI leaks, hallucinations, and unsafe clinical recommendations.
